In the beginning

Hard to believe that something we started dreaming about some 17 years ago is actually going to happen. Know that "bucket list" that everyone likes to refer to?  Well ours has always been more of a "bushel basket list" and no matter how many of those items we were able to tick off, the number one has never changed...a pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago. We had a couple of obstacles to overcome before we could finally reach this point.  In the last few years, Jerry has had two back surgeries, two total knee replacements and two total hip replacements.  We think he may be one of only a few that will be making the trek bouncing along on that many new parts.  Like I keep reminding him, I will be forced to deal with all the same old parts.
