I must have been very tired when I wrote about the scallop shell so I just hope you were able to make some sense out of it. The trails are really very well marked and the locals have tried to help by providing bright yellow painted arrows on whatever is handy...trees, buildings, posts rocks etc. Actually, they probably just got tired of everyone asking them where the Camino was. Here are a few examples.
