Our One Knight Templar

Did I mention
how the weather was starting to change? We
had wind all the way to the cross, but as we left, it decided to add a little precipitation. Think wind-driven rain! We slogged into the next “abandoned” village
to find a lean-too shelter run by a modern Knight Templar which now gave the
village the official population of 1.
Hey, we were grateful for the leaky shelter and the coffee. We hustled as fast as we could to find the
nearest actual alburgue. We were lucky but many pilgrims were turned away and
the next shelter was 8 km away.
Hi Jerry and Marylou,
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I have had an opportunity to look at your blog. Inspirational is the first word that comes to mind! Your both in your 70's and wow what an undertaking, it is a true testament to the human spirit. I watched this movie years ago and also wanted to do it and here you are doing it for me!
The sights, sounds, and history what an incredible journey. Be safe, enjoy and I look forward to more postings.
