In a manger

Old stone house renovated as cafe
We knew we would have to stop short today in order to find a room because of the huge number of pilgrims on the camino.  What we found was a wonderful alburgue literally in the middle of nowhere.  A true hamlet, again with an official population of one.  The structure originally had been a stable and they kept some of the unique details and of course the old stone walls.  The inside facilities themselves were new, complete with a jetted fixture in the shower.  We were upstairs so assume we were in what had been the hay loft.
An old Roman column still being used as a support
Old stone fireplace - see bunks beyond

Irish music filled the patio.  Seems strange but the Celtic influence was very strong in this area.  We also saw our first pilgrims on horseback.
