309 km to Go - Over half way there!

This was a signpost on our early morning exit from Leon. Encouraging to know that we are over half-way there.   Leon goes on forever...I swear it took a couple of hours to actually escape the city.  At a darling little road side café, Jerry saw some hunting magazines and when we inquired, we were told that this is a huge upland bird hunting area. Seems they hunt in those huge fields of sunflowers that we had just come through.  As we went through the area, we saw lots of kennels and some very handsome bird dogs whose breeding has been kept to the original standards. 

Over half-way there!!!
