Hamlets everywhere

The camino winds through all these ancient hamlets. It is so hard to decided what photos would truly depict what they are like. We have seen several that are being reconstructed and were really surprised at how many were actually occupied. Nearly all the homes have a structure in which to dry corn.  We were told that not many really use them for that purpose anymore, but they continue to repair them and build new ones to keep up the tradition. If you look behind the new one in the pic you will see the old one in the background.
