We made it!

Our first glimpse of the cathedral

"We made it" was heard everywhere as we made our way into the plaza in front of the cathedral. Pilgrims everywhere sitting, laying or just standing to admire this magnificent structure.  As we walked the last km, we walked with a German policeman that we had first met in Leon and then again several times along the camino. and recognized several others in the plaza.  Everyone had that shared experience of having completed the camino! For us  500 miles in 33 days!   We are staying in Hostel Rep. Mexico on Calle Rep Argentina...how appropriate!
